The World African Diaspora Union (WADU) invites the community to gather in Georgia for a heartfelt commemorative tribute in honor of Dr. Sharifa Saa Ma’at. This special event, taking place on September 28, 2025, at 3:00 PM Eastern Time, will celebrate the 10th anniversary of cherished memories of Dr. Sharifa’s impactful life and legacy.
Hosted at the Hummingbird Restaurant, Decatur, Georgia, the tribute will bring together voices from across the diaspora in remembrance of a woman who dedicated her life to uplifting her people.

The commemorative event will feature:
Guest Speakers: Brother Kweku Lumumba and Mama Kali Sichen, sharing reflections and wisdom.
Dinner Choices: A variety of cultural favorites including brown stew, fried chicken, oxtail, curry shrimp, escovitch snapper, jerk shrimp, and vegetarian rasta pasta.
